WHO WE ARE
The National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce New York (NGLCCNY) is the NGLCC’s affiliate chamber and regional office in the New York Metro area. NGLCCNY is charged with providing members extensive opportunities for business development and education, as well as access to corporate procurement decision makers in the region. NGLCCNY works to foster a climate of growth and success in which all companies – regardless of size or industry – can prosper.
WHAT WE DO
- Strategize with corporate partners, other business organizations and the community at large to strengthen opportunities and equality for LGBT businesses and professionals in the tri-state region.
- Provide education and mentoring to LGBT and allied businesses and professionals.
- Partner with the financial services sector to improve members’ access to capital to start or grow their business.
- Provide marketing venues for LGBT and allied businesses.
- Broadcast news and information central to the success of LGBT business enterprises and professionals on a local level.
- Provide access and discounts to NGLCC’s exclusive LGBT supplier diversity certification to help businesses gain procurement opportunities with large corporations.
- Stay on the forefront of legislative issues and provide lobbying efforts for LGBT business causes and non-discriminatory affairs.
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Executive Committee serves as the primary advisory group to the NGLCCNY and provides guidance, advice, expertise and recommendations regarding the programs and development of the organization.

The Steering Committee, made up of the leadership of each Industry Council, provides cutting-edge programming suggestions and industry expertise and knowledge to the NGLCCNY Executive Committee while working to expand membership and corporate partnership opportunities in their respective fields.
