Advocacy is a top priority for the NGLCCNY, whether it's lobbying Congress in conjunction with NGLCC, working with state and local governments, commenting on regulatory issues or working with leaders throughout America's top corporations to bring about equality, opportunity and change. The NGLCCNY has quickly moved to become the LGBT business voice in the New York Metro area. We feel it is imperative to the advancement of equality and prosperity for the LGBT community that we function as a unified economic force through our advocacy efforts.

In conjunction with NGLCC, NGLCCNY monitors the regulatory efforts of the US Department of Labor, US Department of Commerce and other Executive Branch Agencies as they relate to LGBT businesses. For more information click here

NGLCCNY works in cooperation with advocacy groups such as HRC and Out & Equal Workplace Advocates, and other New York based chambers to positively support Corporate America's work with the LGBT community. NGLCCNY specifically serves as the direct link between Corporations in the Metro New York Region and LGBT-owned businesses.
