2017 NGLCC National Dinner
NGLCC is turning fifteen, and we're celebrating with our largest gala ever! On Friday, November 17, NGLCC will invite leading LGBT business owners, corporate partners, supplier diversity advocates, and community leaders to the National Building Museum in Washington, DC to join in on the birthday festivities at our annual National Dinner Awards celebration.
Since its inception fifteen years ago, NGLCC has connected top corporations, LGBT-owned businesses, affiliate chambers, and government leaders to foster business development opportunities across the globe through the NGLCC’s Supplier Diversity Initiative (SDI). In addition to celebrating NGLCC's 15 years of advocating for the LGBT business community, this year's gala will recognize the outstanding achievements and contributions made by our certified LGBTBEs and corporate partners throughout the year in three distinct categories:
- NGLCC CORPORATION OF THE YEAR: This award is given to a corporation for their outstanding support and dedication to ensuring fairness and equal opportunity for LGBT suppliers, customers, and employees. The NGLCC Corporation of the Year will have demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to ensuring workplace diversity, equitable marketing efforts, and inclusive initiatives for LGBT suppliers, customers, and employees. Nominate a company for this award here.
- SUPPLIER DIVERSITY ADVOCATE OF THE YEAR: The Supplier Diversity Advocate of the Year has demonstrated commitment to outreach and inclusion of LGBT suppliers in the diverse supply chain at his or her company. He or she is a tireless advocate on behalf of diverse suppliers. This award applauds the efforts of an individual who is consistent in their commitment to furthering opportunities for growth and development of certified LGBTBEs. - SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR: This award recognizes an exemplary certified LGBTBE for their outstanding contributions to the growth and development of LGBT supplier diversity. In addition, the nominee will have a proven track record of positive benefits from certification, including, but not limited to, educational opportunities realized, hiring of new staff, expansion of the business, growth in client list, and/or work with NGLCC and corporate partners to further the mission of the NGLCC Supplier Diversity Initiative.
