Law Office of Michael Bond
- Legal Services
I like to think of myself as a ''small town lawyer in the 'Big City''', and pride myself on offering my clients down-to-earth, friendly, and highly personalized legal representation. I also like to think of myself as a lifelong counselor to my clients, and invite them to come to me anytime with any legal questions they may have, or if they need a trusted referral to other professionals.
I focus my practice on the areas of estate planning (wills, etc.), probate & estate administration, residential real estate, and contract & business-related matters, with about 80% of my clients being members of the LGBT community. I am admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
I am a member of several bar associations, and serve on the New York County Lawyers' Association's Estates & Trusts committee and the New York State Bar Association's Committee on LGBT People and the Law, among others.
I have also served as a faculty member at continuing legal education (CLE) programs on estate planning, attorney ethics, and other topics, as well as a panelist at the national LGBT bar association's 2014 annual Lavender Law Conference.
