We are excited to share that applications for Cohort 2 of the Own It! Program are now being accepted. This program is a virtual entrepreneurial intensive specifically designed to provide education, resources, and space to transgender & gender expansive (TGX) business owners as well as aspiring TGX entrepreneurs. Own It! is co-created and maintained by nglccNY, TD Bank, and Destination Tomorrow. Each cohort completes three courses of small business education (research and resources, business plan writing, and maintaining profitability), as well as being paired with a mentor TGX business owner, a business advisor from the Small Business Development Centers of America, and receives a TD Bank-sponsored membership to the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce to pursue professional networking and LGBTBE certification for diverse supplier opportunities.
