The NGLCCNY Helps Kick Off Global LGBT Pride
In partnership with NGLCC and NYSE Euronext, the NGLCCNY kicked off Global LGBT Pride Month with an historic celebration at the New York Stock Exchange on Friday June 5th, 2009. The event was nothing short of amazing with more that 200 NGLCC and NGLCCNY members, corportate partners and supporters along with elected officials and celebrities. The day included a symposium discussion on Stonewall and culminated with an elegant cocktail reception on the trading floor of the stock exchange. The highlight of the day was the Closing Bell Ceremony where NGLCCNY Co-Chairs Thomas Koveleskie and Robyn Streisand, Membership Director Richard Oceguera, NGLCC Co-Founders Chance Mitchell and Justin Nelson, NGLCC board members and corporate partners all gathered at the podium in the name of Equality in the LGBT Business Community. Also joining the Closing Ceremony were reality TV star Ronnie Kroell and CBS and Logo News Anchor Ross Palombo.
